A chance to cover a broad range of things for current residents and future residents that don't get much attention, but deserve to be talked about such as: the dailies of residency life, living on loans, managing families and friends, interactions with colleagues, attendings, and staff, funny moments that deserve to be told. Dr. Levin Fairchild

A Southern Louisiana raised boy living in Chattanooga, TN as a resident surgeon during the day and a country music singer-songwriter at night. Dr. Fairchild trained at LSU for his undergrad degree and LSU-New Orleans for his medical degree. He is currently at PGY-2 Categorical Surgery resident at UT-Chattanooga where he lives with his fiance and dog, Reese. In his free time, he enjoys working out, playing baseball and coaching if able, hanging out with family and friends, and pursuing his country music career. His own artist career really came to life on Bourbon street during 2017-2021 while he was in medical school at LSU New Orleans playing 3-4 nights a week after school and studying all day. His music is also on Spotify under his stage name, Levin Dirk, with his debut EP titled “NOLA” with over 400K streams!
